Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Stivi Roofing ("I", "me") collects through stiviroofing.ca, why, and what I do with it. I handle personal information in line with Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act(PIPA).

What I collect

The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the quote form:

• your name and phone number
• your email address, if you give it
• your address or neighbourhood, if you give it
• the service you need and your description of the problem
• a photo, if you attach one

The site does not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies of its own. The companies that host and deliver the site keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to keep it running and secure.

How I use it

I use what you send to reply to you, look at your roof problem, prepare a quote and, if you hire me, do the work. I don't sell your information, rent it out, or add you to a mailing list.

Who else handles it

The quote form is processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., the company that hosts this site. Netlify stores data on servers that may be outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that country. I don't share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long I keep it

I keep form messages and photos for as long as I need them to quote and complete the job, and for any period the law requires for business records. After that I delete them.

Your choices

You can ask to see the information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent to me using it, which means I won't be able to quote or do the work. To ask, send a message through the contact form.

Changes to this policy

If the way this site handles information changes, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
